First sketched at French Institute, New Delhi and then premiered in its complete version in Borotalpada village during Night of Theatre n°11, HOME MADE THEATRE is a theatre-dance-video performance in Santhali, Hindi, Bengali, French and English involving 10 Santhal, 2 Bengali and 1 French artists from Trimukhi Platform who explore the possibilities offered by a majestic mud house recently built in the Santhal village: using its façade for video projections, its windows, doors and walls for body movements, its veranda for proclaiming texts by French philosopher Gilles Deleuze, German poet Peter Handke and Chinese novelist Gao Xingjian.
At Vidyasagar University, instead of a mud house, Trimukhi Platform will use for its performance the building of the Centre for Adivasi Studies and Museum.
