On January 28, 2017, at Trimukhi Cultural Centre in Borotalpada village, during Night of Theatre n°9 • La Nuit des Idées two philosophical adda (discussions) took place, in English and in Bengali: the first one titled « Art & Thought » with Samantak Das, André Éric Létourneau and Patrice Maniglier; the second one titled « Thought & Art » with Jean-Frédéric Chevallier, Cuqui Jerez and Sunandan Roy Chowdhury. The conversations were preceded by the forecast of two philosophical capsules : « What Is Art? » by Jean-Frédéric Chevallier and « What Is Thought? » by Patrice Maniglier. Damien Syed, Consul General of France in Calcutta concluded the conversations.
