In December 2011, the famous Bengali painter late Shanu Lahiri invited to her home in Kolkata two women from Borotalpada, members of Trimukhi Platform: Chumki Hansda and Falguni Hansda. In Santhal society, it is indeed women who paint the walls of houses with clay of different colours (red, black, white, etc.). As late Shanu Lahiri also had a long experience of mural painting, she volunteered to share her discoveries and strategies. As usual: generous, voluntary and poetic.
